Captions can be used to store information about equipment use (such as miles or hours from a vehicle’s odometer). This can be linked to a trigger to automatically prompt users to perform routine maintenance (such as oil changes every 5,000 miles)
To associate a new Trigger to the appropriate Caption, navigate to Fixed Assets > Setup > Maintenance > Caption Maintenance, and click the hyperlink.

While within this Caption, on the “Triggers” tab, click Add.
Use the Lookup to find and select the appropriate Trigger.

Click Save.
