The SE Desktop is a tool for the mid-level Service Manager. Its available tiles and charts can be used as a starting point to create a desktop to assign to users.
Tiles relating to Service Department values are based on a single Service Department. A Selector tile can be used to choose the Service Department.
Charts have a browse function, and you can click the tile heading to see more detail.
Tiles were added to Planned Maintenance, Service Orders, Billing, and Technicians.
SE Desktop - Selector Tile
The Selector tile is used to select the information you want to see on the Desktop.
The Account field was relabeled as Service Department.
The Date Range is no longer included. Instead, each tile applies a defined date range. There may also be multiple versions of a tile that provide different date ranges.
Service Orders are selected based on their Effective Date. When a Service Order is included, the displayed values are total amounts for the Order.
Selector Tile
When you click the Selector tile, a list of options is opened (SE Desktop Options).
The Service Desktop shows the Service Department Code and Description in the Select Service Department tile.
