This document instructs clients how to create a Service Location. Service Locations need to be created in order to create Service Location Customers, which need to be created in order to enter Service Orders for dispatching.
From the tree menu on the left side of your screen, click the Service Management Module > select Locations, then click the green ADD button on the bottom of the screen. Make sure you are on the Locations Tab.

2. Enter all the information for the location. Blue fields are mandatory.

3. Location Name will be used when creating service orders. Address Name will appear on Service Reports and Invoices (it defaults into the field from the Location Name when adding a new location). Address is the physical address of the location.

4. Location Level is the hierarchy of the account, it will either be, I- Independent, P-Parent, S-Subsidiary, or T-Template. In most cases, I-Independent is usually chosen. Location type is the code that distinguishes the location type (ie. Hospital, Hotel, Construction Site etc.). Use the Inventory Location field if the location will always pull from the same inventory location.

5. Click the Directions/Access Tab; here you can enter any special directions or access comments if applicable. This will be visible to the technician on their mobile devices.

6. Click the PR Info Tab and enter information if desired.

7. Click the Company Specific Tab. Information in this area will apply specifically to the KCo you are currently in while creating the location. You can go into different KCo’s and enter information for each KCo on this tab.

8. Click the SAVE button on the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
