A Job can be defined as a Master Job, which is created for billing purposes. Master Jobs can have multiple Subsidiary Jobs.
This topic describes the functionality available in Job Status that aggregates the values of Master Jobs and their Subsidiary Jobs in reports and inquiries.

Subsidiary Jobs Option
If the Job you select from the Inquiry browse screen is a Master Job, a Subsidiary Jobs drop down option is listed on the Main tab, as shown in Subsidiary Jobs Option.

Subsidiary Jobs Tab
Once you select the Subsidiary Jobs option, a Subsidiary Jobs tab appears next to the drop down list, as shown in Subsidiary Jobs Tab. The Subsidiary Jobs tab gives you a browse screen showing all the Subsidiary Jobs and their values. Column sets are available for this browse, and there are numerous fields available for selection and viewing.

Job Listing Report
This topic describes how the Job Listing Report can aggregate the values of Master Jobs and their Subsidiary Jobs.
Menu Item
The Job Listing Report can be found in Job Status > Reports > Master Jobs, as shown in Job Listing Menu Item. This report has been developed for Master Jobs. It lists all Subsidiary Jobs and their values for each Master Job selected.

Selection Screen
Once you select Job Listing from the Reports > Master Jobs menu, you are presented with the selection screen shown in Job Listing Selection Screen. There are two tabs on this screen: Main and Sort, which are explained below.

Main Tab
The Main tab for the Job Listing Report is shown in Job Listing Selection Screen above. Along with the standard selection screen fields, it also includes the following fields:
Fiscal Period
The value in this field defaults from the current period date.
Currency
This drop down field defaults to the Company's default Currency Code. Only the visible company is set to multi-currency.
Field Set
This field allows you to select the field set (a grouping of related fields) to display on the report.
A number of pre-defined field sets exist, but others can be created as required; please contact COINS if you require additional field sets.
Sort Tab
The Sort tab for the Job Listing Report is shown in Sort Tab. It contains the following fields:
Sort By
Includes drop down options for sorting by Group, Type, Location, and Job Analysis fields.
Totals
When checked, the report shows the totals for the sort options.
Page Level
After selecting how you wish to sort the report, you can also select the number of the sort level that controls page breaks. The report will start a new page each time the value of this sort field changes.

Cost Code Detail Report
This topic describes how the Cost Code Detail Report can aggregate the values of Master Jobs and their Subsidiary Jobs.
Menu Item
The Cost Code Detail Report can be found in Job Status > Reports > Master Jobs, as shown in Cost Code Detail Menu Item. This report has been developed for Master Jobs. It shows the details of a Master Job and the corresponding Subsidiary Jobs at the Cost Code level. Subtotals are shown per Subsidiary Job, and the Grand Total is shown per Master Job.

Selection Screen
Once you select Cost Code Detail from the Reports > Master Jobs menu, you are presented with the selection screen shown in Cost Code Detail Selection Screen. There are three tabs on this screen: Main, Cost Code, and Sort. The Main and Sort tabs are discussed above in Section Selection Screen. The Cost Code tab uses the standard selection screen fields.
