Mobile Form Field Types

Field Types are configured for every field allowing designers various data capture options.

Annotatable Image

An image can be attached to the field. The image will appear on the form however the ability for annotation is only available in the mobile app.

Character

Fields with this type allow you to capture text on the form. There is no limit on how many characters can be entered.

Checkbox

This is a logical option of Yes or No.

Combo/Picker

This is a dropdown type where multiple Possible Values can be configured; however only a single value selection can be made.

Date

This is to specify field as type date.

Date Time

This is to specify field as type date and time. The mobile app will submit the correct format; however if done manually in Coins ERP+ the format has to be [YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM] for example 2020-01-01T10:00:10

Decimal

This is to specify field as type decimal.

Integer

This is to specify field as type integer.

Label

This is to specify field as type label therefore this will just show the description and no input option on the form.

Location Coordinates

This is designed only for mobile apps where location co-ordinates can be picked. Latitude and longitude are displayed on the submitted form.

Multi - Select

This is a tickbox type where multiple Possible Values can be configured and multiple values can be selected.

Photo

This is to specify field as type photo. This is only for mobile app to allow to capture and annotate the photo during the data capture process.

Radio set

This is a radio set type where multiple Possible Values can be configured, but only a single value can be selected.

Signature

This is to specify field as type Signature. This is only for mobile application to allow to capture the signature during the data capture process.

Sub-Title

This is to specify the field as type sub-title. This is very useful on the mobile application for grouping different fields under a sub-title.

Time

This is to specify field as type time.
