Overview
Coins ERP+ allows users in the US Region to include detailed information about Prevailing Wage (PW) payments. A PR parameter PWFITEMS can be set up to indicate which Pay Items represent Prevailing Wage fringes.
Configuration
A PR/PWFITEMS parameter is available in Payroll. It can include a comma-separated list of Pay Items for Prevailing Wage Fringes that will print in detail on Employee Checks. When you select to print the Prevailing Wage Fringes details, these Pay Items do not print in total on the check.
Print Checks and Print Payslips
A Print Prevailing Wage Fringe Detail checkbox is available in Payroll that allows you to introduce Prevailing Wage Fringe Detail to the checks and payslips. It defaults as not checked.
If you select Print Prevailing Wage Fringe Detail and there are no Pay Items entered for the PR/PWFITEMS parameter, a warning message appears and states that detail cannot be printed. In order for detail to print, at least one Pay Item therefore must be set for the Payroll parameter.

Payroll Reports
Prevailing Wage Fringe details are included on the Print Checks and Print Payslips reports when the Print Prevailing Wage Fringe Detail checkbox is selected on the selection criteria screen. The information on the report comes from the Job/Job Calculation Description or the PW Schedule/PW Calculation Description.
The Total Check/Payslip sum of Prevailing Wage Fringes is shown in the YTD TOTAL column (Print Checks Report) and YEAR TO DATE column (Print Payslips Report).
